Meena Mehta, a Graduate in Psychology and English, M.A. M.Phil (English), B.Ed., P.G. Dip. in Journalism, started her career as a Lecturer in a Girls College, Bahadurgarh. She also worked as a Sub-Editor for a magazine Facts For You published by EFY Enterprises and Sailors Today – a monthly for merchant navy professionals. In 1990 as a freelancer she succeeded in representing India for a Hong Kong based electronic magazine Electronic Component.

Teaching being more direct medium for interaction with the youth she aspired to excel in teaching. She has been into this career & life shaping noble profession since 1985. She has the experience of running a Computer Education Centre too.

Presently she is working as a Principal in a Public School of South Delhi. Organising community orientation programs, workshops, competitions in literary and cultural activities, art & science exhibitions and training for creative writing is her forte.

Writing Poetry, Reading extensively include her interests. Articles on Women Empowerment published in Alpha – a journal published by Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan, articles and poems published in the school magazine reflect her journalistic bent of expertise.
